MS boring gulla socket / lock coupling

A gulla socket (or boring gulla socket) is a threaded mild steel coupling primarily used in plumbing, water boring, and drilling operations to securely connect boring pipes, often in depths up to 50 feet. They enable stable, leak-resistant, and aligned connections, reducing vibration during heavy-duty drilling.

Sizes we have available are 1.25 , 1.5 , 2 , inches.

Male-female reducer /bush

A male-female reducer, often called a reducing bushing or adapter, is a pipe fitting designed to connect a larger pipe or port to a smaller one (or vice versa) where one end has external (male) threads and the other has internal (female) threads.

These fittings are essential for transitioning between different thread sizes in plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Key Specifications to Consider
  • Thread Type: Most common are NPT (National Pipe Taper), which creates a tighter seal by wedging the threads together, and BSP (British Standard Pipe), widely used internationally. 
  • Configuration: A standard “bushing” usually has a larger male thread and a smaller female thread to fit inside a port. An “adapter” may extend the connection further while changing size. 

Cast Iron Valves

Valves are mechanical devices used to control, direct, or regulate the flow of fluids (liquids, gases, or slurries) by opening, closing, or partially obstructing passages. They are broadly classified by their mechanical motion, function, and method of actuation.

Valves used in water pipe lines

Valves in water supply systems regulate, stop, or direct flow, ensuring efficient, safe, and pressurized distribution. Key types include gate valves for main shut-off, ball valves for quick operation, check valves for backflow prevention, and air relief valves to eliminate trapped air. Materials like brass, bronze, and iron are commonly used 

Valves used in water pipe lines
  • Gate Valve: Commonly used to start or stop water flow in a pipeline, often kept fully open or closed (isolation). 
  • Ball Valve: A quarter-turn, low-torque valve that uses a spherical disc to quickly stop or start flow. 
  • Check Valve (Non-return Valve): Allows water to flow in only one direction, preventing backflow. 
  • Air Relief/Release Valves: Removes trapped air from high points in pipes and allows air in to prevent vacuums during draining. 

Column Pipe Adapters (Borewell & Water Systems)

Cast iron column pipe adapters are essential for connecting rigid cast iron piping to other materials or for extending borewell column systems. Depending on whether you are working on a high-pressure borewell system or a standard drainage (DWV) line, your needs will differ. 

They are made of mainly two material:
  1. Cast Iron Adapter
  2. Stainless Steel Adapter

Brass Valve

Brass valves are essential, corrosion-resistant plumbing components widely used to control the flow of water, gas, oil, and air in both residential and industrial pipelines. Made from a durable alloy of copper and zinc, they withstand extreme temperatures and high-pressure environments better than materials like plastic or copper.

The choice of a brass valve depends largely on the specific function required for your piping system

SS Bush

A stainless steel threaded bushing (or bush) is a precision-machined mechanical component and pipe fitting used to connect pipes or fittings of different diameters. It typically features larger male threads on the outside and smaller female threads on the inside, providing a secure, leak-proof transition
